Glock 23 Nabbed From Vehicle in Arnold
The victim believes his car was locked, but police couldn't find any signs of forced entry.
A firearm is now in the hands of someone who didn't purchase it legally.
That's according to a Jefferson County Sheriff's Department report. A Glock 23 was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Caleb Circle.
The theft occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 and 10 a.m. on Friday, July 12.
The victim believes his vehicle was locked, but police couldn't find any signs of forced entry, the report notes.
The firearm is valued at $550, according to the report.
