Guns Reported Stolen From Metal Barn in Imperial

The two missing firearms were valued at $750.

Two firearms were reported stolen as part of a burglary in Imperial last week. 

The incident occurred between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 12 on Frisco Hill Road, according to a Jefferson County Sheriff's Department report.

Someone stole a North American Arms Guardian .380 pistol valued at $450 and a .38 Smith & Wesson Special revolver valued at $300.

The unknown burglar(s) broke into a metal barn with an attached living area to steal the handguns, the report notes. One was stolen from the kitchen table while the other was taken from the bedroom.
