License Plates Theft Went Unnoticed Until Arnold Woman Was Issued Ticket

An Arnold woman discovered that license plates were stolen from her garage after she was issued a stoplight ticket by the Metropolitan Police Department of St. Louis.

In the citation, her license plates were said to be on a GMC van, according to a police report. Afterward, the victim checked a storage cabinet in her garage, where the plates were previously located. The victim noticed that a chain saw was also missing.

The items were reported stolen sometime between July 1-25, according to a police report.
