A 36-year-old St. Louis woman was found dead after the car she was riding in struck a utility pole on the outskirts of Friday night.
Angela Long-Larue, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, was riding in a car with Keith Kimberly, 34, of Arnold, eastbound on Lonedell Road, just west of Autumn Set Drive.
Kimberly, the highway patrol said, was driving his 1998 Chevrolet Camaro too fast around a curve and travelled off the right side of the road. Kimberly then over-corrected to get back onto the road, causing the car to travel off the the road again and hit a utility pole.
Long-Larue was pronounced dead on scene by Rock Township Ambulance personnel.
The car the two were driving in was totaled.
