Police: Cellphone Taken from Unlocked Gym Locker

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

June 25

Phone Stolen—An owner reported his phone, valued at $200, missing from an unlocked locker at 8:15 a.m. at 215 Arnold Crossroads Center.

Disturbance—Police investigated  disturbance at 2201 Michigan Ave., the address for , at about 8:30 a.m., and arrested a Pevely woman, 21-year-old woman on existing warrants. Two people told the officers that an acquaintance took $50 in cash and a cell phone valued at $150. The suspect fled before police arrived.

Harassment—A woman called police at about 6:30 p.m. because a customer, an a 55-year-old Arnold woman, came into the store at 18 Arnold Park Mall and made racist comments. The customer also called several times, made racist remarks and threats. Police found the customer and issued a court summons.

Disturbing the Peace—A man called police and said he was threatened by a Maryland Heights man, 22, who entered the store about 1 a.m. at 3695 West Outer Rd., the address for . The man left before police arrived but he returned and threatened the employee again. Police arrested the man and later released him on a court summons.

Marijuana Possession—During a 4:30 p.m. traffic stop at Interstate-55 and Hwy. 141, an officer found marijuana in the car of a Bonne Terre man, 32, and charged him with drug possession.

June 26

Driving While Influenced—Police stopped a St. Louis man, 60, on southbound I-55 at Richardson Road and charged him with driving while influenced. Tests said the man had a blood alcohol content of 0.129 percent. Police booked the man and released him to a sober driver.

Assault—Police investigating a disturbance on Ida Lane at about 11:30 p.m. learned the man and woman involved had assaulted each other. Police issued court summonses to both people and arrested the man on outstanding warrants.

Suspicious Vehicle—Police investigated a suspicious vehicle at about 2 a.m. at Hollywood Beach Road and the Meramec River. They arrested an Arnold man, 23, on outstanding warrants.
