Police Report: $800 in Flea Medicine Missing

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

July 12 

Leaving the Scene of a Wreck—A woman in the 800 block of Brookdale Drive reported that body damage to her vehicle that was parked overnight.

Theft—A victim reported $5,000 worth of tree trimming equipment missing from a locked storage toolbox in the bed of a utility truck at , at 3500 Telegraph Blvd. The items were last seen at 4:15 p.m. on July 11.

Driving While Influenced, Assault—While investigating a wreck at northbound I-55 and Highway 141, Arnold police said they found the driver, a 24-year-old Pevely woman, was under the influence of marijuana or synthetic marijuana. St. Anthony’s Hospital ran blood and urine tests on the woman and treated her husband, 23, for injuries.

Phone Stolen—A man reported his $400 iPhone missing from his unlocked car that was parked overnight on Twin Fawn Court.

July 13

Fugitive—Officers investigated a suspicious person on Bender Lane and arrested an Imperial man, 27, on outstanding warrants. Arnold police processed and held the man for release to Pevely police officers.

Drug Possession—Arnold police investigated a disturbance at 1110 Big Bill Rd., the address for , after 10 p.m. and arrested a Dittmer woman, 37, for possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and on an outstanding warrant. Police booked and released the woman on a bond.

Trespassing—An officer investigated a possible burglary on Lake Drive at about 11 p.m. and found an Arnold man, 48, who no longer resides at the location, inside the building. Police booked and held the man in lieu of a bond for an outstanding warrant.

Driving While Influenced—Arnold police stopped an Imperial woman, 45, at about midnight at a sobriety checkpoint on Vogel Road. A breath test said the woman had a 0.115 percent blood alcohol level, police said. Officers booked and detained the woman until she was sober.

Sobriety Checkpoint—An Arnold man, 48, was stopped at about midnight at the Vogel Road sobriety checkpoint. He refused to take a breath test, was booked and released to a sober driver.

Marijuana Possession—Arnold police also stopped an Arnold man, 17, at the Vogel Road checkpoint. They found him with less than 35 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia. Police released him on a court summons.

Minor in Possession—Also at that checkpoint, at 12:37 a.m., officers issued a summons to an Arnold man, 19, for a minor in possession of alcohol charge. He was released at the scene.

Driving while Influenced—At 1:09 a.m., officers stopped an Arnold man, 23, who’s breath test said he had a 0.166 percent blood alcohol level. Police booked and released the man to a sober driver.

Checkpoint—At 1:34 a.m., officers stopped a man, 44, at the checkpoint. He refused to submit a breath sample, was booked and released to a sober driver.

Driving while Intoxicated— At 2:20 a.m. at the Vogel Road checkpoint, officers stopped an Arnold man, 44, who’s breath test said he had 0.127 percent blood alcohol level. Police booked and released the man to a sober driver. 

Suspicious Vehicle—Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle at about 2 a.m. on Keywest Drive. They found and charged a Cedar Hill man, 25, for possession of drug paraphernalia. Police released the man at the scene on a court summons.

Curfew Violation—During a traffic stop at about 1:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of Jeffco Boulevard, Arnold police stopped four juveniles and charged them with curfew violation. There were three 15-year-old girls and a 16-year-old girl, police said. Their respective parents picked up their children and police sent a report to the Jefferson County Juvenile Office.

Minor in Possession—Officers stopped a Hillsboro man, 19, at Highway 141 and Astraway Drive at 2:52 a.m. They charged him with minor in possession of alcohol then released him on a court summons.

Saturday, July 14

Wanted Arrest—Police, conducting a follow-up investigation at 10:15 a.m. at 2101 Jeffco Blvd., found and charged an Arnold man, 17, for property damage. Police released the man on a court summons.

Burglary—A victim on Clara Drive reported two shotguns and power tools missing from the home’s garage. The victim told police no one was at home between Dec. 20, 2011 and April 9, 2012.

Theft, Drug Possession—An officer investigating a Diane Drive jewelry theft arrested a DeSoto man, 20, and an Arnold woman, 18, wanted in relation to the case. Police charged the man with drug and paraphernalia possession. After questioning, police released both people on pending applications for warrants.

Theft— security, at 2150 Michigan Ave., detained an Arnold woman, 39, after being accused of stealing $157 in dishware and clothing. Police released her on a court summons because her child was with her.

Sunday, July 15

Theft— managers, at 828 Arnold Commons Dr., reported 18 packs of flea and tick repellant valued at $822.77, missing from the store. The items were taken during business hours, the report said.

Theft— management, at 2201 Michigan Ave., said an Arnold man, 24, allegedly stole a $23 computer memory card. Police stopped the man attempting to leave the area in his car. Officers booked and held him in lieu of bond.
