Police Report: Ninja Stole Electronics

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

June 15

Car Damage—A woman reported about $500 of damage to the driver’s side door of her 2008 Chevrolet Impala while it was parked on Ridge Drive at about 9:45 on June 12.

Armed Assault—During a traffic stop on northbound Interstate 55 at Church Road, police arrested an Arnold man, 21, because he was wanted for assault with a firearm.

June 16

Missing License Plates—Both license plates were reported stolen from a 2003 Toyota Corolla parked overnight on Anthony Court.

Windshield Damage—The front windshield of a vehicle was damaged as it was parked overnight on Rosedale Court. About $300 of damage occurred.

Driving While Influenced—Police charged an Arnold man, 30, with driving while influenced at the intersection of Ridgecrest Drive and Wagon Wheel Road at about 3 a.m. The man refused to take field sobriety or breath tests. Police booked and held the man until a sober driver could take him home.

June 17

Minors in Possession of Alcohol—At about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of I-55 and Hwy. 141, Arnold police found four teens in possession of alcohol. The two 19-year-olds, both Ballwin men, a Fenton woman and a Manchester woman were issued summonses and released.

Driving While Influenced—Police charged an Imperial woman, 42, with a DWI during a traffic stop. A breath test said she had a blood alcohol content of 0.330 percent. Police took her to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in South St. Louis County for evaluation and possible treatment.

June 18

Missing License Plates—Both license plates were reported missing from a 2011 Dodge Charger. The victim believes they were taken between June 8 and June 18.

Missing Vehicle—A red 2002 Jeep Liberty with Illinois temporary license plates was reported missing. It was taken between June 10 and June 18 on Tiara Drive.

Ninja Steals Electronics—A woman reported at 5:26 p.m. that a white man dressed like a ninja entered her Vera Lane home went into the bedroom, stole a computer, iPhone, iPad and $1,000 in cash. He fled the home.

Driving While Influenced—Police stopped a 19-year-old Imperial man on Jeffco Boulevard at 6:28 p.m. Tests said he had a blood alcohol content of 0.165 percent. Police charged him with DWI then released him to a sober driver.

June 19

Driving While Influenced—During an investigation of a wreck at 7:20 a.m., police charged an Arnold woman, 19, with driving while influenced on Tenbrook Road. She refused to take a breath test. Police booked her then released her to a sober driver.

Soliciting without a Business License—Arnold police issued a summons to a 30-year-old Old Monroe woman, at 2:39 p.m. on Irene Drive, for soliciting door-to-door without a license.

Stealing—Arnold police charged a 19-year-old Bloomsdale with stealing at , at 2201 Michigan Ave., at 4:14 p.m. Police booked and detained him pending a bond payment.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol—After a traffic stop at Jeffco Boulevard and Richardson Road, at 2:25 a.m., Arnold police arrested an Imperial man, 19, because he was wanted as a minor in possession of alcohol. Police booked and held the bond pending a bond payment.

June 20

Stealing—The Walmart security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., reported that an Imperial man, 20, left the store without paying for $70 in electronics at about 4 p.m. The suspect fled the store but later turned himself in to police. Police booked and released the man on a summons.

Drug Possession, Stolen License Plate Found—A St. Louis man was stopped for a traffic violation on northbound I-55 and Hwy. 141 at 4:25 p.m. Police discovered that he was in possession of a stolen license plate and wanted on multiple warrants. The passenger, a 23-year-old St. Louis woman, also had a warrant from Washington County for felony drug possession. Both of them were arrested and held for transport to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.
