Police Report: Teenagers Violating Curfew

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

Friday, July 6

Felony Fugitive—Arnold police made a traffic stop at about 1 p.m. on Jeffco Boulevard and arrested the driver, an Arnold man, 28, on a felony fugitive charge.

Stealing— store security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., stopped an Arnold woman, 40, for stealing merchandise at about 7 p.m. Arnold police booked her and released her on a court summons.

Driving While Influenced—While investigating the above theft, at Walmart, an officer arrested a 45-year-old Arnold woman on a charge of driving while influenced. The woman refused to take tests. Police booked then released her on a pending arrest warrant.

Failure to Appear—Officers investigating a car at the intersection of Lonell Road and Missouri State Road at 11 p.m. arrested an Arnold woman, 51, on failure to appear warrants. Police booked and held her in lieu of bond.

Child Endangerment—An officer investigating an unattended 1-year-old in Starling Community Road at 10:20 p.m., found the St. Louis man, 27, in charge of the child. Police released the man on a court summons.

Driving While Influenced—During a 1:30 a.m. traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 141 and Interstate 55, police arrested an Arnold man, 24, on charges of driving while intoxicated. The man refused to take tests. Police booked and released him to a sober driver.

Saturday, July 7

Disturbance—Officers investigated a disturbance at about 5 p.m. on Saxton Drive and arrested two people. A Pevely woman, 46, was wanted on a St. Louis County warrant. Police charged a Hillsboro man, 40, for marijuana possession.

Curfew Violation, Marijuana Possession—Arnold Police investigated a large group of people at 2:30 a.m. at the Phillip’s 66 gas station at Highway 141 and Astraway Drive. Several people fled on foot or drove away. Police stopped one car and found a 16-year-old girl and two 15-year-old boys in violation of curfew. Police also found a 16-year-old boy in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police released the juveniles to their parents. Police charged a St. Louis man, 17, with resisting arrest by flight and charge an Imperial man, 18, with traffic violations. Police released the men on court summonses.

Gas Drive Off—Police investigating a gas drive off at about 10 p.m. at at Key West Drive and West Outer Road arrested an Arnold man, 40, for $450 in Arnold traffic warrants and numerous warrants from other jurisdictions. Police booked and held the man for court.

Sunday, July 8

Stealing—Arnold police traveled to to arrest two women on stealing charges. A Festus woman, 29, is accused of stealing $362 worth of merchandise. Another Festus woman, 18, is accused of stealing $666 worth of merchandise. Crystal City, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and St. Louis City Police have warrants for the women. Arnold police booked and held the women for travel to other law enforcement jurisdictions.
