Shot Fired Into Bedroom of Imperial Home While Man Slept

No one was injured in the incident, but Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies are asking for your help in the case.

A shot was fired into an Imperial home that traveled through the resident's bedroom window while he slept.

The incident occurred in the 5400 block of Old Lemay Ferry Rd. late Sunday or early Monday morning. No one was injured.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies, the bullet traveled through the window, over the bed of the sleeping homeowner, through the bathroom door and became lodged in the wall.

"He didn't even hear the shot," said Capt. Ron Arnhart, of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. "He noticed the bullet hole and damage when he woke up in the morning."

Arnhart said there was another family member in different bedroom who didn't hear the shot either.
