He Must Have Needed the Money to Buy a Clue

If you are handcuffed and detained in a sheriff’s deputy cruiser it’s probably not the best idea to steal the deputy’s wallet. But one man did that after the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department arrested a suspect in a series of electronics and stereo equipment thefts Jan. 17 from vehicles on Stillbrook Estates Drive in Fenton. The man concealed the wallet in his groin, which was discovered at booking.

It can be very annoying to arrive home with a fast food order and discover someone forgot to put the fries in the bag with the burger. One woman in University City was so ticked off Jan. 10 about her Jack-in-the-Box order being wrong that she not only yelled at the drive-thru worker but came inside the restaurant and attacked her.

A Manchester resident on Baxter Acres Drive reported two air-filled Christmas decorations in his yard were ruined after a 200-pound man tackled them on New Year’s Eve. In a separate incident, a Hanna Oaks Court resident reported on Dec. 23 that she found a reindeer decoration in her yard that did not belong to her. It was taken into evidence. It is not known whether the decoration is part of the Town & Country deer relocation effort.
