Stolen TVs, Drug-Related Charges in Arnold Crime Report

Parents report teenagers' fight posted to YouTube, Counterfeit $10 bill passed in Arnold also in Crime report.

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

Oct. 30

Burglary — employee, at 1436 Jeffco Blvd., reported $2,500 in cash missing from the business safe.

$400 Glass Door Broken — An employee at , at 1610 Jeffco Blvd., reported the business’ $400 glass door was broken, $200 stolen from the cash drawer and $160 in exfoliating cream missing.

TV Stolen from Store — store security, at 3849 Vogel Rd., reported a man stole a $650 tv by walking it through a fire door and loading it into a waiting vehicle. 

Stealing — store security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., detained a St. Louis man, 33, and a St. Louis woman, 38, for stealing numerous items totaling less than $500. During booking, Arnold police learned that St. Louis City police also wanted one of the suspects. Arnold police held that suspect for transfer to St. Louis City law enforcement officer and released the other suspect on a court summons. Arnold police did not identify which suspect was transferred to St. Louis City. 

Oct. 26

Stereo Stolen — A Ridgeway Drive resident reported a $300 stereo system stolen from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked overnight

TV Stolen from Store — Walmart store security reported that someone stole a $600 tv by walking it out the building’s rear door and loading it into a waiting vehicle. Arnold police said similar thefts occurred in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Fighting in a Public Area — A parent called Arnold police to report two girls fighting in , at 1838 Old LeMay Ferry, at about 4 p.m. The parent said a video of the fight was about to be posted on YouTube.

Oct. 25

Stealing — A Starling Community resident reported a table saw and grinder missing from his unlocked shed. Total loss valued at $150.

Marijuana Possession, Fugitives — Arnold police officers found two St. Louis men, both 30 years old, at 3230 Richardson Place in possession of marijuana. After checking the suspects’ identities, police learned St. Louis County and Ferguson law enforcement agencies wanted the suspects. Arnold police booked and held the suspects for transfer to the agencies.

Stealing — Walmart store security detained a Bloomsdale woman, 49, for stealing $135 in merchandise. Arnold police said the suspect had stolen from the retailer in the past, booked her for the current event and released her on a pending arrest warrant.

Child Endangerment — Arnold police responded to a call of a two year old boy  in a locked vehicle at Walmart at about 4:30 p.m. Police found the child’s mother, a 25 year old Imperial woman, charged her and released her on a court summons.  Missouri Department of Family Services said Arnold Police should release the child to his mother.

Oct. 24

Stealing, Drug Paraphernalia Possession — Arnold police officers, responding to a complaint, found and arrested two suspects, a 31 year old man from House Springs, MO and a 28 year old woman from Pacific, MO, at 1:30 p.m. for stealing from Walmart. Police charged the man with drug paraphernalia possession.

Counterfeit Money — A St. Louis man, 41, was arrested for using a counterfeit $10 bill at the at 505 Jeffco Blvd., during a purchase.

Stealing, Intent to Make Methamphetamine — Walmart store security called the Arnold Police Department after watching three suspects steal tubes. A 20 year old Pacific, MO man, a 20 year old Pacific, MO woman, and an 18 year old man from Labadie, MO, bought numerous items needed to make methamphetamine. Officers charged the suspects with intent to make meth after they searched the suspects’ car and found lye, acid, camp fuel, alcohol, plastic wrap, and glass jars.

Disturbing a Bingo Game — A Jeffco Boulevard victim said an Arnold man, 48, threatened her during a bingo game at about 9:40 p.m. Police interviewed the suspect who said his accuser threatened him during the game. Police sent the report to the municipal public attorney’s office for review.

Intent to Make Methamphetamine — During a traffic stop near the intersection of Hwy. 141 and Arnold Crossroads at about 12:20 a.m., police charged an Imperial boy, 17, for drug paraphernalia possession, obstructing an investigation, and on outstanding warrants from St. Charles and St. Louis. The passenger, a 19 year old woman from Sikeston, MO, was arrested on outstqnding warrants. Arnold police booked the suspects then released them to other law enforcement agencies.
