Stolen Vehicles, Drug Possession Charges in Police Report Ending March 20

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information.

March 20

  • Stolen Vehicle — an Abrams Court resident reported his vehicle missing after leaving it parked in his driveway, unlocked, and the keys in the vehicle.
  • Stolen Vehicle — a resident, of the 3100 block of Waycross Drive, also reported his vehicle missing. The victim locked the vehicle and did not leave the keys inside it, the police report said.
  • DWI — A St. Genevieve man, 24, faces charges of driving while intoxicated and driving on a revoked license. Arnold police officers caught the man after a short foot chase. They found the suspect hiding behind the Water Tower Place Shopping Center, in the 1200 block of Water Tower Place.  The suspect refused to take a breath test. After booking the man, police released him to a sober driver.

March 17

  • House Fire — House fire at 1859 Engle Drive. Police investigated the fire’s cause at the vacant home.
  • Theft Charges — store security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., detained three Jefferson County women — an Imperial resident, 27; a Pevely resident, 26; and Festus resident 27 — after allegedly stealing less than $500 from the store.
  • Stolen Property — Two bicycles were stolen from a garage in the 100 block of Bethany Court.
  • DWI, Leaving the Scene of a Wreck — Officers charged an Arnold man, 30, with driving while intoxicated and with leaving the scene of a wreck in the 3600 block of West Outer Road. Arnold police officers found the suspect at his home, booked him, then released him on warrants.
  • Vehicle windows broken — A victim reported that someone broke the passenger side window of her vehicle while it was parked in the 500 block of Christ Drive during the evening.

  • Purse Stolen from Car — A mother’s purse was stolen from her unlocked car as she dropped off her children at a daycare center in the 2000 block of Missouri State Road.
  • Passed Stolen Check — management, at 3900 Vogel Road, reported a man passed a stolen check worth about $56. Management identified the suspect in store photos.
  • Theft Charges — a Reid’s Excavating employee, at 2031 Richardson Road, reported an Arnold resident, 20, allegedly stole several 20-foot lengths of pipe. Police officers found the suspect and arrested him and another Arnold resident, 41.

March 15

  • Stolen Vehicle — 2000 Jeep Wrangler stolen form the 3500 block of St. Stephens Court between 3-6 p.m.
  • Marijuana Possession — St. Louis County resident, 23 charged with marijuana possession after a traffic stop along Richardson Road at about 10 a.m. The arresting officer also learned the suspect was wanted for traffic warrants in Berkley.  The suspect was released on a bond and court summons.
