Two Arrested for Stealing Woman's Purse at Walmart

Monday, April 15

An employee at U Gas at 3611 West Outer Rd. told police that a woman left the store without paying for $36.97 in merchandise.

Tuesday, April 16

• An employee at Circle K at 2001 Richardson Rd. reported that someone pumped $28.47 in gas into a red van and left without paying.
• A man told police that someone had removed a toolbox and numerous tools from the bed of his truck while it was parked at Pear Tree Inn at 1201 Drury Ln.

Wednesday, April 17

Employees at Kohl's at 2150 Michigan Ave. detained a 20-year-old St. Louis City woman after they observed her conceal jewelry valued at $60 and exit the store. She was taken to the police station where she was booked and released on a summons.

Friday, April 19

An employee at Circle K at 2001 Richardson Rd. reported that someone left the station without paying for $63 in gas. 

Saturday, April 20

An employee at Zingers Mart at 1502 Jeffco Blvd. reported that a man left the gas station without paying for merchandise. An investigation led to the arrest of a 36-year-old St. Louis man. He also had warrants out for his arrest from the St Louis City and Chesterfield police departments.

Sunday, April 21

A woman reported that her purse was stolen while shopping at Walmart at 2201 Michigan Ave. An investigation led to the arrest of a 45-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, both of Arnold.
