UPDATED: Two Dead in Car Accident in Jefferson County
A 17-year-old driver who ran a red light at high speeds crashed against another vehicle, killing two.

Two people are dead following a multi-vehicle accident on highway 61 at I-55 in Festus, FOX2 News reports.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred near the southbound lanes of Highway 61 at I-55, after a 17-year-old ran a red light at high speeds and crashed with another vehicle, killing the couple inside that vehicle, according to FOX2.
The accident caused road closures for at least 4 hours, FOX2 reports.
