A silver 2000 Ford Focus was taken from an Imperial residence on June 2, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department said.
A woman on Lakewood Terrace reported that the vehicle hadn’t been seen since it was parked in front of her home by her boyfriend.
The boyfriend said he parked the car and returned the key to his girlfriend. The woman was not in possession of the key when she contacted police, but told officers she didn’t give it to anyone.
