Warm Weather, Assaults in Arnold's Crime Report

Numerous assaults and arguments reported in Arnold during the warm days last week.

May 14

Stealing more than $500 — management, at 3900 Vogel Road, reported that man entered the store at about 3:30 p.m., too about $500 in bottle alcohol and left without paying.

Drug paraphernalia possession, Warrant — After a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Cromwell Court, police officers learned the Arnold man, 20, driving the car was wanted on warrants and prior traffic charges. The passenger, a Crocker, MO woman, 20, faces drug paraphernalia possession charges and was released at the scene on a court summons.

May 13

Arson Reported — Rock Community Fire Protection District said someone entered the , at 1 Golfview Drive, during the night, set a porta potty on fire and melted it to the ground.

Assault — A mother living on Doe Run Drive said her daughter struck her during an argument. Police found the 21-year old suspect and held her for 12 hours.

May 12

Marijuana possession — Police arrived at the office, at 751 Jeffco Blvd., and learned the principal learned a Fenton boy, 16, allegedly was in possession of Marijuana and cigarettes. Police charged the suspect and released him to the school’s custody.

Stealing, Property Damage — An officer investigating a purse stolen from a vehicle parked at , 2132 Tenbrook Road. The officer followed the debris to a residence and found a juvenile matching the description provided by witnesses. Police took the suspect into custody.

Stealing— Police charged an Imperial man, 22, and a Hillsboro man, 19, with stealing tires from Autotire  Car Care Center at 1914 Richardson Road. An employee confronted the suspects after they drove their SUV onto the lot and loaded tires into the vehicle. Police booked the suspects at the Arnold Police Department then released them on a court summons.

Assault — A woman living on Ray Del Drive said her live-in boyfriend, 17, punched her in the mouth and pulled her off the bed. Police found the suspect near the intersection of Hwy. 141 and Old Lemay Ferry Road. Police arrested, booked and held the man fro 12 hours.

May 11

Theft — security, at 2201 Michigan Ave.,  called police about a theft occurring at the store. Officers arrested two Festus residents—a 36-year old man and a 32-year old woman— and a Pevely man, 32, at the scene. During booking, police learned the suspects were wanted on Jefferson County warrants and held.

Stealing — A employee, at 3611 West Outer Rd., said the driver of a 2004 silver Hyundai with a Missouri license plate pumped $51 of gasoline and left without paying.

Felony weapons possession — Police detained an Arnold man, 42, on five counts of domestic violence, one count of assault, a charge of armed criminal action and felony possession of a firearm. A woman at Boeing Drive said her brother-in-law flashed a gun at her and her family during an argument. Police seized a Mac-10 weapon as evidence and booked the suspect.

May 10

Assault — An Arnold woman said a juvenile girl allegedly attacked her at the intersection of Richardson Place and Richardson Road. The juvenile struck the left side of the victim’s head, kicked her in the stomach and struck her shoulder. Police found the suspect and referred her to juvenile court. 

Theft — Walmart security detained a St. Louis woman, 36, for shoplifting. Police released her at the scene on a court summons.

May 9

Burglary — A Keller Drive resident reported that someone broke a garage window, between 12-2 p.m., entered the building and removed a laptop computer and golf clubs from his parked vehicle.

DWI —An Arnold man, 53, faces charges of driving while intoxicated after police stopped him near the intersection of Hwy. 141 and Interstate 55. A breath test revealed the suspect had a blood alcohol level of .12.
