Police received a call for a disturbance July 18 on Yale Avenue in Maplewood. A 53-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman had assaulted one another after arguing about changing a television show.

Creve Coeur police were notified that sometime between July 14 and July 15, a metal heron, measuring 16 inches tall, was taken from a yard on Champeix Lane. It was valued at approximately $40.

Landscaper Should Have Tied One On Before Work

A landscaper's lawn mower fell from a trailer on Glenway Drive in Glendale on July 21, damaging an unoccupied parked car. The landscaper continued on his way, leaving the scene of the accident. He was later arrested after he surrendered to police after they were able to identify him though his employer. He was changed with pperating a motor vehicle without a valid license, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, failure to secure load and property damage.

Lil Denim Needed Some Threads

An aspiring 21-year-old rapper was arrested on suspicion of trying to steal jeans on July 8 from in the Saint Louis Galleria. He told police he needed the clothing for a performance that night. He was being held while police applied for a warrant, and he also was being held as a fugitive wanted by several other law enforcement agencies.

Cursing the Police is Never a Good Idea

A driver whose car got hit in the parking lot of a gas station on June 28 was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace, according to Richmond Heights police. The incident began when a driver caused a minor traffic accident in the parking lot and then tried to apologize to the victim. The victim got out of his vehicle and became "irate enough to attract the attention of those around him," according to police.

A police officer who witnessed the accident tried to defuse the situation, at which point the victim began cursing loudly at the officer. He was arrested and his vehicle was towed from the gas station.

Lunchtime Peace Disturbance

Police arrested a man for peace disturbance after they found him passed out on the sidewalk in the middle of the day on June 23 near the entrance to , a bar and grill in St. Charles. He was peaceful enough while he was laying on the sidewalk but began physically assaulting pedestrians when he woke up.
