While He's in Jail, Imperial Man's Bike is Stolen

An air compressor, generator and Honda motorcycle were among the items reported stolen from the home of an Imperial man who was locked up while it happened.

The thefts reportedly occurred between Sept. 8-10 on Meadow Drive in Imperial, according to an incident report. A burglar broke into an unlocked storage building and also nabbed some tools.
The victim's son reported the theft to police. He also told them that his father is incarcerated, according to the report. An investigation is ongoing.
