Woman, 60, Shows Gun During an Argument

More thefts from unlocked cars in the crime report for Sept. 12-18.

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

Sept. 18

  • Stealing from an Unlocked Vehicle — A Bradford Lane resident reported missing a GPS unit, 2 Dewalt drills and a Dewalt reciprocating saw from his unlocked vehicle.
  • Assaulting an Officer — Arnold police officers, investigating a domestic violence incident, stopped a Jefferson County woman, 40, driving in the 1800 block of Jeffco Boulevard. Police said the woman was intoxicated and kicked officers when they attempted to arrest her.

  • Flourishing a Weapon — Police arrested an Arnold woman, 60, after she flourished a weapon during an argument on Kathryn Drive. Police booked, then released the suspect on a pending warrant.
  • Drug Possession, Abandoning a Vehicle — Arnold police officers found drugs while investigating a vehicle abandoned in a ditch near Jeffco Boulevard and Betty Drive. Police found and detained the driver, a 24 year old Chicago, IL, man.
  • Stealing — Police detained two juveniles for stealing from the at 1253 Water Tower Place. Police released the juveniles to their parents

Sept. 14

  • Stealing  — , at 2150 Michigan Ave., caught five suspects for three different thefts: An Imperial, MO, woman, 18, and a juvenile after they attempted to leave the store without paying for $100 in merchandise; an Arnold woman, 29, for stealing $140 in clothing; a Festus man, 23, and an Arnold woman, 25, for stealing $230 in clothing. Police released the adults at the store on four separate court summonses. The juvenile also received a court summons but was released to a parent.

  • Stolen Handgun — A Tenbrook Road resident reported missing a 9mm handgun, a digital camera, a checkbook, $3 in cash and a satellite radio receiver from his unlocked car. The victim believed the theft occurred between 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 and 4 a.m. on Sept. 13
  • Stolen Wallet — A Southgate Drive victim said his wallet was missing from his unlocked vehicle. 
  • Drug Paraphernalia Possession —  A Fenton man faces drug paraphernalia possession charges after an Arnold police officer responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of West Outer Road and Key West Drive. Police released the suspect on a court summons.

Sept. 12

  • Property Damage — An Ozark Drive resident reported that someone broke her $25 bathroom window.
