12 City Council Candidates Beat the Jan. 18 Filing Deadline

Ward 3 will be the most contentious race with five candidates on the ballot.

Twelve people declared their candidacy for Arnold’s City Council election and filed to be placed on the April ballot.

The last person filed at about 4:40 p.m. at City Hall on Tuesday, about five minutes prior to the building’s close.

City Clerk Diane Waller remained at the building until 5 p.m., as mandated by state law, and waited for anyone wanting to file for the election.
