Arnold 9/11 Memorial Ceremony DVDs Available

The commemorative DVDs will cost about $10.

DVDs of the unveiling of Arnold's 9/11 Memorial and tribute ceremony on Sept. 11, 2011 are now available.

Ward 1 Councilman Christine "Cricky" Lang said the DVDs cost about $10 and will be available at the Jefferson County Library-Arnold Branch at 1701 Missouri State Rd.

The memorial contains World Trade Center metal that was bent and warped after the terrorist attacks in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001.

Arnold Planning and Zoning commissioner Todd Teuscher volunteered to design the memorial to include stone models of the World Trade Center buildings.

During the ceremony, an American Bald Eagle stood over the memorial and flared its wings And Arnold elected and community leaders solemnly honored the Americans who died on that day.
