Arnold will celebrate Independence Day by having a concert, carnival rides and plenty of food vendors, City Parks and Recreation Director Susie Boone said in an email to Patch on Thursday.

A separate email, sent by Parks and Recreation Department officer Teresa Kohut, said the July 4 celebration will actually begin on Tuesday, July 3, at 4 p.m. when the food vendors and carnival rides will be available.

The Joe Dirt and the Dirty Boys Band will be in concert on Wednesday from 7p.m.-11p.m.
