The City of Arnold will test its outdoor tornado warning siren system at 11 a.m. Saturday morning.

Shockey said the information will allow him to identify the sirens that need further improvements and help provide smart use of taxpayers' money.

City Attorney Bob Sweeney said Arnold also has a second warning system that sends automated phone calls during a weather emergency.

Residents can register for the free CodeRED emergency warning system through the City of Arnold website, Sweeney said.

The link can be found on the website's left side and is titled CodeRED Emergency Warning.

The website said the information gathered is only used for emergency purposes.
