Residents will benefit from the new schedule because they have two weeks to collect and dispose of shrubbery, Baker said.

The new scheduled should cause no pressure on public works employees because they have about one week to pick up the items from neighborhoods, Baker said.

In the past, wards received one week for shrub pick up.

City Administrator Matt Unrein said he would post the event on the city’s Facebook page and send a message on the city’s Twitter account.
