Arnold City Hall to Announce $80 Million Anheuser-Busch Project

Arnold City Hall and Anheuser-Busch inBev will announce expansion at 3 p.m. press conference.

Arnold City Hall and Anheuser-Busch InBev, in separate news releases, will formally announce an $80 million project in the Jefferson County city.

The project will add 100,000 square feet to AB's operations in Arnold. Metal Container Corporation makes billions of aluminum cans for the beverage makers products and currently employs more than 100 people.Β 

The expansion will create at least 20 new permanent jobs at the plant and many more construction related jobs.

Arnold Commons β€” which has the supermarket, and several other retail businesses β€” was a $70 million construction project city officials have said.
