Details on Ronnie Milsap Concert Refunds

Canceling the concert was the least costly decision, said Greg Hall, Arnold's director of administration

Ronnie Milsap ticket holders must contact their ticket seller for a refund.

Greg Hall, the City of Arnold's director of administration, said he received a call from a Milsap spokesman who said the singer injured his shoulder in a weather-related accident.

Milsap's doctors recommended the singer cancel performances on Feb. 18 and 19, Hall said during a Council meeting on Thursday, Feb. 17.

Hall said he discussed options with Mayor Ron Counts and Ward 3 Councilman Bob Lindsley, who sits on the city's tourism commission. The city could reschedule Milsap, find another performer or cancel the concert.

Canceling the performance was least expensive choice, Hall said.

Ticket holders must contact their ticket seller to receive their refund, Hall said. People who purchased through Ticketmaster  must contact Ticketmaster. Fans who bought through Stltoday.com contact Stltoday.com.

Anyone who purchased tickets at Arnold City Hall should bring their tickets to city hall for a full cash or credit card refund, Hall said.

Arnold City Hall is at 2101 Jeffco Blvd and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. City Hall will be closed Monday, Feb. 21, for Presidents Day, a national holiday.

People unable to visit city hall should fill out a refund form at the city hall website and mail it with  their tickets to 2101 Jeffco Blvd. They will receive a refund check, by mail, in three to four weeks.

The city will lose any money used for advertising and equipment deposits due to the cancellation, Hall said.

If Milsap performed next year, Hall said, the performer would lower his fees to offset any losses from this weekend's canceled concert.
