MoDOT Work Zone to Split I-270 Lanes This Week

The Missouri Department of Transportation provided the following road closings for the Week beginning May 9.

Traffic shift on northbound I–270 at I44, North of Gravois Road on MondayΒ 

MoDOT has created a workzone in the middle lanes of northbound Interstate 270, Interstate 44 and Rott Road. The area is north of Gravois Road.

Driver will see three left lanes and two right lanes on I-270, MoDOT said in a news release.

The lane shift creates a work zone for bridge repairs, MoDOT said in a news release.

Drivers should note the 45 mph speed around the work zone and the narrowed lane widths.

One of the right lanes will exit to I-44 eastbound and Watson Road. All I-270 lanes will be open during rush hour traffic. Access to the I-44 ramps will be open but with shorter merge and exit ramps.

Page Avenue Lanes near Lindbergh Aveneue to close on Thursday

MoDOT contractors will close lanes on the Page Avenue bridge over Lindbergh Boulevard on Thursday.

Crews will close two lanes in each direction on the Page Avenue bridge at 7 p.m. Thursday to repair and resurface the lanes. All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. Friday.Β 

If needed, crews will close lanes on the bridge at 7 p.m. Friday to finish the work, and reopen lanes by 6 a.m. Saturday.

All ramps between Page and Lindbergh will remain open, MoDOT said

All work is weather permitting.

Spirit Bridge painters to close Route 40/61 lanes on Monday

MoDOT crews will close two eastbound lanes on Route 40/61 near Spirit of St. Louis Bridge in Chesterfield Valley at 7 p.m. on Monday to paint the bridge overnight.

Crews will close one lane on eastbound lane on Route 40/61 near the bridge at 7 p.m. on Monday. A second lane will close at 9 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning. Work on eastbound Route 40/61 should be complete by 5 a.m. Friday.
