Only Five Candidates for Arnold's Elections

The incumbents are currently running unopposed for Arnold's city council seats and the treasurer's office.

Early in the election season, only the incumbents filed to register for the five Arnold positions up for election in April 2012.

As of Friday, Dec. 16, only Ward 1 Councilman Christine “Cricky” Lang, Ward 2 Councilman Jeff Fitter, Ward 3 Council Paul Freese, Ward 4 Councilman Ken Moss and Arnold Treasurer Dan Kroupa have registered for the election ballot, according to a document posted in City Hall.

Prospective candidates have until Jan. 17, 2012 to register for the Arnold city elections.

After that day, Arnold City Clerk Diane Waller will check the candidates’ eligibility for Arnold office. Candidates must reside within their wards and have no unpaid municipal, utility or tax bills.
