Short Arnold City Counci Agenda for Thursday

Only three administrative items planned for the first Arnold City Council discussion in May.

The Arnold City Council will discuss three administrative issues during the Thursday, May 3, meeting at at 7 p.m.

First, the council will consider hiring auditor Hochschild, Bloom and Company for the next two years. The City of Arnold will pay no more than $43,000 to the firm for the evaluation and review of City's financial statements.

Second, the councilmen will vote to appoint Michael W. Evans to complete a three-year term on the Aging and Disabilities Commission as the representative for Ward 3. Evans is a five-year business teacher with the Fox C-6 School District and serves on the Veteran's Advisory Committee and to The Veterans and Military Families Advisory Committee to the Democratic National Committee, said documents posted on the Arnold City website.

Last, the council will need to approve an added $7,500 expense to have the Hopkins Flooring Company to modify the Arnold Public Works Building at 2912 Arnold-Tenbrook Rd. The additional money is needed to buy more square feet of carpet needed for the project.
