There's an Election Soon

And another election, with more signs expected, in the fall.

What a difference a year makes.

Throughout town, this year, residents have seen only a few campaign posters for the handful of contested elections for Arnold's city council seats.

Four council seats are up for election again but there are only six candidates running for office in 2012. Wards 2 and 3 are the only contested elections.

Councilmen Christine β€œCricky” Lang of Ward 1 and Ken Moss of Ward 2 will run unopposed in April's elections.

Incumbent Jeff Fitter will face Michelle Hohmeier for the Ward 2 seat. Candidate Mike Evans will challenge Paul Freese to be the councilman for Ward 3.

City Treasurer Dan Kroupa, who's position is also up for election, will run unopposed.

There's another election in the fall.
