Former Antonia Elementary PTO Board Member Pleads Guilty to Stealing

Rebecca Woods of Barnhart was accused of writing eight checks last year and forging the signatures of other board members, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. She cashed six of the checks for herself.

Today, Wood pleaded guilty to four counts of forgery and two counts of theft. She is scheduled for sentencing in October.

Antonia Elementary is a school in the Fox District located in Imperial at 3901 State Road M.

She had also changed the PTO's bank account address to redirect statements to her house, according to a report from KSDK.

Antonia Elementary School Principal Mark Rudanovich contacted police after discovering that his signature had been forged on checks that Woods wrote to herself.
