Fox School Board Candidates Haven't Raised Much Money
A review of the most recent campaign finance reports shows that the campaigns are being funded primarily by the individual candidates.
The most recent campaign finance reports show that Fox Board of Education candidates have had minimal spending activity so far this election.
Six candidates are vying for two seats on the school board. The election is set for April 2.
A committee supporting Pete Nicholas has received the most monetary contributions. The committee has received $600, with $50 coming from Nicholas. Cheryl Hermann contributed another $50 and Electrical Workers Voluntary contributed $500.

A committee supporting Mark Jones has raised $485 in monetary contributions, with $180 of that coming from Jones. The rest came from Cherie Jones ($100), Nathaniel Jones ($5) and Sam Ferry ($200). The committee spent $304.97 in advertising, legal and office costs.
Steven Holloway's committee is being driven primarily by an $820 loan from Holloway. That money was used for a newspaper advertisement.

Committees supporting Dan Kroupa and Ruth Ann Newman haven't filed any campaign finance reports yet. They may have raised money in the past few weeks, but that information won't become available until March 25. That's the first campaign finance deadline for committees that were formed after Feb. 16.
Anthony Thebeau, the final candidate, hasn't formed a committee or filed any campaign finance reports. He's not required to form a committee if he doesn't spend or receive $1,000 during the campaign.
