Pepper's Dr. Says No State Wrestling
The Seckman senior is injured for the third season out of four.
According to STLhighschoolsports.com, Seckman senior wrestler Blake Pepper, will again not wrestle in the state meet, even though Seckman swept their district meet.
Pepper has missed the entire season after knee and hamstring surgery on his right leg. It’s the third season in four years that he’s had to miss the state meet because of an injury. He and his team had hopes for the end of the season, but his doctor say no.
"I have no doubt that if he had been healthy he'd have two or three state championships," Seckman's two-time state champ Matt Kraus said.
