Watch Out for Buses: School Starts Today in Arnold

Close to 12,000 students will be heading to school this morning in the Fox C-6 School District.

is the largest district in Jefferson County and covers about 104 square miles with students in eleven elementary schools, four middle schools and two high schools. Which means there’s a very good chance you’ll see one of their big yellow buses this morning during rush hour.

The lucky riders of Bus 17 heading towards Seckman High will be the first to hit the road today at 6:34 a.m. out on Hwy 21. Assistant Superintendent Tim Crutchley said Fox will pick up its students in three waves, with buses running multiple routes to get all their students safely to school.

By 8:30 a.m. the roads should be clear of buses as the last of the elementary runs are completed.
