The beloved Fox High School Band Director and music instructor died on Thursday, July 5, at the age of 37.

Fox High School music instructor and band director Matt Rice, 37, died on Thursday morning, July 5, of natural causes.

What are Fox High School students—current, former and alumni—favorite memories and lessons learned from Mr. Rice.

Arnold councilmen Doris Borgelt and Bill Moritz said, in another article, that Mr. Rice was a popular teacher, who was very proud of his students and who made the band one of the top high school bands.

On the ArnoldPatch Facebook page, people said Mr. Rice was a wonderful man, a fighted musician and too young to have passed away.
