Pictures of Meramec River's Receding Shoreline

As the Meramec River water levels approach historic lows, one Arnold Patch user takes pictures of the shoreline.

It's well-known that drought-like conditions have caused the Meramec River to move to unusually low water levels.Β 

In a South County Times article, Cpl. Jim Barlow of the Missouri Water Patrol said the levels are the lowest he's witnessed in 18 years.

Patch user has been documenting the river's levels through photographs submitted to the on Arnold Patch. Take a look at two pictures of the river from Friday compared to a photo from July 12.
