Disc Golf Fundraiser Nets $300 to Save Flawed Pets

Twenty disc golf players decided to play on Saturday, May 26, and help "unwanted" pets born with physical problems.

Twenty athletes and disc golf players arrived at , on Saturday, May 26, to help raise $300 to save pets born with physical problems.

"Many puppymills and breeders have dogs that are 'flawed' and not profitable," said a news release about the event. Breeders will kill the pets to lower their companies' food costs.Β 

FLAWDOGS is an animal shelter that tries to rescue many of those dogs. "But money for food, vet bills, cleaning supplies, etc can be hard to come by," the news release said.
