Rummage Sale to Benefit Animal Shelter Saturday

A charity rummage sale will be held at St. Mark's United Church of Christ to benefit A.D.O.P.T. of Missouri.

A.D.O.P.T. (Animals Deserving Of Proper Treatment) is having a rummage sale hosted by St. Mark's United Church of Christ at 1861 Missouri State Road from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Proceeds from the sale will go towards building a new animal shelter for Jefferson County and for the care and rescue of animals currently held at Jefferson County Animal Control.

A.D.O.P.T. is a Jefferson County, Missouri organization devoted to the elimination of euthanasia as a form of pet control (with an emphasis on spaying and neutering.) We are dedicated to opening a new shelter and adoption center in Jefferson County, and are already in the planning stages of acquiring a better, more visible facility, which will include air conditioning, heating, proper ventilation, medical clinic, isolation areas, walking and grooming areas and offices for staff. ~A.D.O.P.T.
