The Ridgewood Middle School is located on a a large and safe campus about a half-mile from Highway 141 in Arnold. Three connected buildings stand in front of a large, grassy playfield owned by the Fox C-6 School District. The public school teaches seventh and eighth graders, has 421 students and 47 certified staffers. The Character Education Partnership, a non-profit based in Washington, D.C., designated Ridgewood Middle School as a <a href="http://www.character.org/elevenprinciples">National School of Character</a> in 2006.
