Challenge Cup Preview: Team Captain Leslie Leads Underdog Seckman into Playoffs
Senior captain Scott Leslie will lead the underdog Jaguars hockey club into the Challenge Cup with his team-leading 31 goals.
Though they barely qualified, the Seckman Jaguars are now one of 16 hockey clubs looking to win the area's ultimate pize: the Challenge Cup. Seckman snuck into the Challenge Cup tourney as the number 15 seed and will face second-ranked Francis Howell Central in the first round. The Jaguars won the South Division for the second straight year, defeating Northwest 8-5 on the last day of the regular season to edge out Eureka.
