Joey B's Wins South County's Burger Battle

Voters chimed in for our second Food Fight poll this week and selected their choice for the best burgers in South County.

Joey B's Food & Drink got the top nod from Patch readers who voted in our weekly Food Fight poll this week when we asked for your favorite burger place in South County. When we closed the poll on Friday, the Concord Plaza spot had racked up 54.1 percent of the votes among the four finalists that readers nominated early in the week. The other three nominees in the poll were Red Robin (which got 9.2 percent), Concord Grill (with 31.6 percent) and Malone's Neighborhood Grill & Pub (with 5.1 percent). Voting took place from Thursday morning through Friday at 5 p.m. Congratulations, Joey B's, and thank you to all who participated in the Food Fight by voting in the poll and leaving comments on the site. Food Fight: Now Vote for South County's Top Burger Place

We got fewer nominations for this week's Food Fight South County, but they were passionate. Now you can vote in the poll for what we judged as the top nominations.

We looked at the nominations for the best South County burger barn. We looked on the story we posted on our South County sites on Monday. We looked on Facebook, where we posted the story and where readers listed a few more of their nominations. And we've narrowed it down to four finalists for this week's Food Fight poll. It's time to vote in the poll at the bottom of the page. Our finalists are: To finish off this Food Fight, we need you to vote on one of those four burger places as your favorite. Leave a comment on why you voted, or share your choice on Facebook and Twitter. You can also leave a review of these restaurants on Patch.
