Portable Meth Lab, Drugs Found in Vehicle in Arnold

Here is the list of drug- and alcohol-related incidents the Arnold Police Department handled between Feb. 11-17.

Monday, Feb. 11 At 9:57 a.m., a 36-year-old Arnold man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana in the area of Richardson Road and Melton Drive. After a traffic stop, he was found with four bags and a handrolled cigarette containing marijuana, according to a police report.  Wednesday, Feb. 13 Thursday, Feb. 14 Friday, Feb. 15 Saturday, Feb. 16 Sunday, Feb. 17 At 8 p.m., a 54-year-old Pevely man was issued summons after a physical confrontation at an apartment on Tenbrook Road. St. Louis County Drunk Driving Crackdown This Weekend

Police will conduct operation A.R.R.E.S.T. this weekend in St. Louis County to crack down on impaired driving.

Missouri State Highway Patrol officers made the announcement of the crackdown in a news release. According to the release, “Operation A.R.R.E.S.T” (Alcohol Related Response Enforcement Strike Team) will take place in St. Louis County Saturday. The operation will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 3 a.m., Sunday. "The purpose of Operation A.R.R.E.S.T. is to increase the motoring public’s awareness of the potential hazards of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition," the MSHP stated in the release. Six Missouri state troopers will be conducting the operation across the county this weekend. Woman Arrested at Home for Leaving Scene of Accident, DWI

Here is a list of other drug- and alcohol-related incidents the Arnold Police Department handled between Jan. 15 - 19.

Tuesday, Jan. 15 An officer on a traffic stop at Richardson Road and St. John's Church discovered found that a 19-year-old Arnold woman was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. She was issued a summons and released at the scene. Thursday, Jan. 17 An officer on traffic stop at Steak 'n Shake at 120 Arnold Crossroads arrested a 23-year-old Imperial man for DWI. He refused to submit a breath sample. He was booked and released to a sober driver. Saturday, Jan. 19

Suspicious Vehicle Check Leads to Heroin Bust on Richardson Road

Here is a list of other drug- and alcohol-related incidents the Arnold Police Department handled between Jan. 7 - 13.

Monday, Jan. 7 Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle at U.S. Bank at 3900 Vogel Rd. arrested an 18-year-old Arnold man found to be in possession of 49 grams of marijuana. Possession of more than 35 grams of the drug is a felony. Another passenger in the vehicle, an 18-year-old Arnold woman, was found to be in possession of 2 grams of marijuana. After booking, both were released pending arrest warrant. Tuesday, Jan. 8 Wednesday, Jan. 9 A 33-year-old Imperial was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a traffic violation at Richardson Road and Marty Drive. He later refused to submit to a breath test. Intoxicated Imperial Man Drives to Arnold Police Station Seeking Comfort

The 23-year-old told officers he needed someone to talk to because he and his girlfriend had just broken up. After being arrested for DWI, he was taken to a local hospital.

A 23-year-old Imperial man was arrested for DWI after driving to the Arnold Police Station in search of consolation. The man drove to the back of the station, where only police vehicles are allowed, and asked to speak to an officer, said Maj. Nick McBroom of the Arnold Police Department.  "He told officers he and his girlfriend just broke up and that he needed someone to talk to," McBroom said. "Officers smelled heavy alcohol on his breath." Police took the man into custody after conducting field sobriety tests, but he would not submit to a breath test. Following booking, he was taken St. Anthony's Medical Center for making suicidal statements.

Meth Lab Found in Home on Telegraph Road

Arnold police arrested a High Ridge man at the home, which was condemned by city's building inspector. He was one of four arrested for drugs or DWI between Dec. 4 and 8.

Tuesday, Dec. 4 Friday, Dec. 7 An officer on a traffic stop at Richardson Road and Rosedale arrested a 25-year-old Arnold man for DWI. He had a BAC of .099 percent. The man was booked and released to a sober driver. Saturday, Dec. 8 An officer on a traffic stop at Jeffco Boulevard and Starling Airport Road arrested a 43-year-old St. Louis man for DWI. Police Nab Man With 37 Grams of Marijuana, Paraphernalia

The man was one of five arrested in Arnold for drugs/DWI between Nov. 29 and Dec. 1.

Thursday, Nov. 29 A 20-year-old Imperial man was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a traffic violation at Highway 141 and Old Lemay Ferry Road. He later refused to submit to a breath test. Following booking, he was released to a sober driver. Friday, Nov. 30 Saturday, Dec. 1

Man Arrested After Found Snorting Substance in Applebee's Restroom

Arnold police also busted a juvenile for marijuana possession and made three DWI arrests between Nov. 20 and Nov. 25.

Monday, Nov. 20 Officers investigating suspicious persons on Ridgecrest discovered four juveniles, one of whom was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. All four were released to their parents. Wednesday, Nov. 21  An officer on a traffic stop at Interstate 55 and Highway 141 arrested a 30-year-old St. Louis man for DWI. The man had a BAC of .156%. After booking, he was released to a sober driver. Friday, Nov. 23 A 19-year-old Ste. Genevieve man was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a traffic violation at Interstate 55 and Highway 141. Arnold Man Found Slumped Over at Wheel Arrested for DWI

The man, who police found in his vehicle at Highway 141 and Jeffco Boulevard, was one of three arrested for DWI in Arnold between Nov. 14 and 17.

Wednesday, Nov. 14 A 23-year-old St. Louis man was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a traffic violation at 1069 Jeffco Blvd. He later submitted to a breath test resulting in a .153% BAC. Following booking, he was released to a sober driver. Friday, Nov. 16 An officer investigating a motor vehicle crash at Highway 141 and Interstate 55 arrested a 54-year-old Arnold man for DWI. The man refused to submit to the chemical breath test. He was held awaiting a sober ride. Saturday, Nov. 17 An officer investigating a person slumped at the wheel near the intersection of Highway 141 and Jeffco Boulevard took into custody a 29-year-old Arnold man for DWI (prior offender) and felony driving while revoked.
