Imperial Man Charged With First-Degree Burglary, Resisting Arrest

Brendan Loyd was allegedly in the process of burglarizing an Imperial residence when the victim came home, discovered him inside and called police. Loyd fled from deputies at the scene.

A 19-year-old Imperial man is facing felony charges in connection with an Imperial home burglary, which was foiled by the homeowner. Brendan Loyd, of the 5200 block of Seckman Springs, recently was charged with first-degree burglary and resisting arrest by the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The incident happened on Jan. 27, 2012. Loyd was allegedly in the process of breaking into a home in the 5200 block of Benck Road when the victim came home, discovered him inside and called police, according to court documents. Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies arrived, and Loyd fled from them on foot. The deputies found him hiding in bushes. Imperial Man, High Ridge Acquaintance Charged in Home Burglary

Brian Rulo, of Imperial, and another man from High Ridge are suspects in a House Springs home burglary that was foiled by a witness.

An Imperial man and his High Ridge acquaintance are facing charges in connection with a home burglary in House Springs. Brian Rulo, of the 4700 block of Kirchoff Ln. in Imperial, and Blake Young, of the 4700 block of Wilbert Rd. in High Ridge, have been charged with second-degree burglary. On Sept. 16, Jefferson County Sheriff's officers responded to a call for a burglary in progress in the 4900 block of West Four Ridge Rd. in House Springs, according to court documents. When officers arrived, they found Young, 19, in the home gathering items. Rulo, 19, told police he dropped Young off at the home, who entered the house through a window, the documents state.
