Seckman's Rodgers Has Amazing Baseball Week
Fox girls soccer has won three consecutive games.
The spring season has not begun for all area teams, especially those that had spring break last week, but there were some memorable first week performances for several area athletes. Mehlville scored six times in the fifth inning to defeat rival Oakville 8-1 Tuesday. The Panthers pounded out 13 hits in the game with five different players (Chris Janssen, Austin Kretzer, Austin Simokaitis, Dylan Okenfuss and Matt Regan) having two each. Janssen went the distance on the mound for the Panthers. He gave up 10 hits, including three by Greg Gralike, but did not walk anyone.
