Lindbergh Boys Get the Last Bounce to Defeat Fox

In a game of teams and coaches that know each other well, this one went to the Flyers.

Lindbergh senior Mik Ebert didn’t have a break the entire game against Fox. Flyers coach Jason Wolfard picked Ebert as one guy that made a difference in Lindbergh’s first-round districts win over Fox. “He made some big plays, some steals, and1s, things like that,” Wolfard said. “At points that I thought we could have lost the lead a little bit, he came up with the big play or the big steal.” The point spread was hardly over five the entire game, and in the end, down to two. Lindbergh stayed ahead of district host, Fox 52-50 at the final bell, to advance to the district semifinal game against Kirkwood. Fox’s season ended at 5-20.
