Only three administrative items planned for the first Arnold City Council discussion in May.
The Arnold City Council will discuss three administrative issues during the Thursday, May 3, meeting at City Hall at 7 p.m. First, the council will consider hiring auditor Hochschild, Bloom and Company for the next two years. The City of Arnold will pay no more than $43,000 to the firm for the evaluation and review of City's financial statements. Second, the councilmen will vote to appoint Michael W. Evans to complete a three-year term on the Aging and Disabilities Commission as the representative for Ward 3. Evans is a five-year business teacher with the Fox C-6 School District and serves on the Veteran's Advisory Committee and to The Veterans and Military Families Advisory Committee to the Democratic National Committee, said documents …

Only the Arnold Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting.
The Arnold City Hall has cancelled the City Council Planning session scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 12. The city council meets during the first three Thursdays of a month, unless one of those days is a national holiday. During the first and third Thursdays of any month, councilmen vote to approve payroll warrants and municipal ordinances. On the second Thursdays on the month, councilmen have work sessions to publicly discuss the city issues that need to more or less regulation and increased enforcement. Only the Arnold Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to have a meeting this week, Jan. 9 - 13, says the Arnold City Hall website.

During the Thanksgiving holiday, Arnold will have it annual Gobble Gobble Run to benefit the Arnold Food Pantry. and Pomme Creek Golf course will have a golf scramble.
No City of Arnold meetings planned for the week of Nov. 21, Thanksgiving week, and City Hall at 2101 Jeffco Blvd. will be closed Thursday and Friday. The city's Fifth Annual Thanksgiving Day Gobble-Gobble Run will occur at Arnold City Park, at 2101 Bradley Beach Road, on Thursday. No one will be able to register on race day, said Arnold's Director of Administration Greg Hall during the city council meeting on Nov. 17. Pomme Creek Golf Course, at 1 Golfview Drive, will have a Golf Scramble on Friday. Prizes will be available, says the City of Arnold website. Pre-registration required by Nov. 23. The next scheduled City of Arnold meeting is Dec. 1 for the Arnold City Council meeting at City Hall.
