Man Drew Handgun After Argument Over Extramarital Affair, Police Say

The Imperial man faces two criminal charges in connection to the incident.

An Imperial man faces criminal charges after police say he pulled a gun on another man who was having an affair with his wife.  Raymond Harris, 44, of the 2700 block of Spring Forest Road, has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon and third-degree assault, according to a court document.  The incident dates back to March 10. In the court document, a Jefferson County Sheriff's Department deputy wrote that Harris arrived to the 1200 block of State Road M in an attempt to fight with another man over the extramarital affair.  Several people attempted to prevent the fight, which led Harris to punch one of them, the deputy wrote. Two-Foot Tall Marijuana Plant Grew in Arnold Man's Bathroom, Police Say

Joseph Jones, 20, is charged with producing a controlled substance.

A 20-year-old Arnold man is facing criminal charges after police say they found a two-foot tall marijuana plant in his bathroom.  Joseph Jones, of the 1100 block of Missouri State Road, is charged with producing a controlled substance, which is a class B felony.  A Jefferson County Sheriff's Department deputy said the marijuana plant was discovered during a search on Dec. 1, 2012, according to a court document. The deputy also found numerous smoking devices and a bag of marijuana, the document notes.  The deputy had been investigating the area for a "suspicious odor" when the officer noticed multiple smoking devices that were visible through the home's window.  Jones gave the deputy permission to enter the home, where the deputy discovered…

Man Bit and Choked His Girlfriend, Police Say

The Arnold man is facing domestic assault charges in the incident.

An Arnold man faces a second-degree domestic assault charge after police said he struck his girlfriend multiple times at their home.  Jefferson County Sheriff's Department officers say that Randall McNail Jr., 33, of the 1400 block of Brookshire Drive, attacked a victim with whom he was intimately involved on April 8, according to a court document.  The victim stated that McNail "struck her multiple times, bit her and restricted her airway by wrapping his hands around her throat and squeezing," noted a Jefferson County officer in the court document.  McNail also faces a third-degree domestic assault charge stemming from the incident. Five Men Arrested Following Brawl Outside Arnold Apartments

The arrests followed an incident on April 24 in the 1200 block of Telegraph Road.

Questions about this report may be directed to Ryan Martin at ryan.martin@patch.com.  A large-scale brawl outside of an apartment complex in Arnold ended with the arrest of five people.  The fight occurred on April 24 in the 1200 block of Telegraph Road. The fight was in progress when police arrived, said Maj. Nick McBroom of the Arnold Police Department. TV, Laptop Reported Stolen in Imperial Burglary

Tuesday, April 23 A flatscreen 32-inch television and a Compaq Presario laptop computer were reported stolen in a Burglary on Chippendale Lane in Imperial. The items were valued at $900. It is unknown how entry was made into the house. Deputies are continuing to investigate.

Girlfriend Unexpectedly Moves Out, Takes Arnold Man's Gun With Her

Wednesday, April 3 A man who lives on Brook Ridge Drive in Arnold discovered when he arrived home that his girlfriend had packed up all her belongings and left the residence. Upon further observation, he told deputies he realized his handgun was missing along with one magazine. Thursday, April 4 A diamond ring set and a gold chain was reported stolen from a home on Old State Route 21 in Barnhart. The homeowner told sheriff's deputies that she noticed the jewelry missing after she had a company representative at her home for an installation appointment. The company representative told police he could not provide any information without a search warrant. The jewelry was valued at $850.

6-Foot-Tall Wooden Indian, Tattoo Machine Reported Stolen

The following information was reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. Bay Circle Drive, Fenton Someone climbed through a window of a home sometime between March 21 and March 23 on Bay Circle Drive, Fenton, and stole a tattoo machine and other items. Missing were a black, carpeted "sub" box containing two speakers, two Nintendo entertainment systems, a "Rebel Bottom Line" paintball gun, a silver and black BB gun, various games and movies and the tattoo machine, which was missing the tattoo gun. The total value of the items was set at $470. The homeowner reported to the sheriff's department that entry to the home was made through a window by the front door. The deputy's report noted that fingerprints were located by the window…

Monday, Feb. 25 A black 2007 Honda Accord was reported stolen from a driveway on Lombard Lane in Imperial between midnight and 6 a.m. The owner told police that he had a spare set of keys to the Honda in another vehicle in his driveway, and that those keys were missing from that vehicle.   Police received another call from a resident on Lombard Lane about a Velociraptor scanner stolen from a man's locked work truck. The victim told police the scanner belonged to his employer. While conducting an area canvass, the officer ran into two other residents who had items stolen from their vehicles. A woman said she was missing an IPOD charger cable and a man told police he was missing a large speaker box containing two 12-inch speakers. Officers …

Thursday, Feb. 7 Friday, Feb. 8 Saturday, Feb. 9 At 9:05 a.m., a wallet was reported stolen from Schnucks, 3900 Vogel Road. A 40-year-old Arnold man and 37-year-old Arnold woman were arrested after confessing to the crime. Police investigated video footage to determine the suspects.  Sunday, Feb. 10 At 6:26 a.m., a 33-year-old St. Louis man was arrested after trespassing at Drury Inn, 3800 Highway 141, police report.
