Ribbon Cutting Event to Welcome Two Arnold Businesses

The ceremony will occur after the Arnold Chamber of Commerce lunch on Tuesday.

Two Arnold businesses, American Family Insurance and Cornerstone Massage, will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1331 Jeffco Blvd., on Tuesday after 1 p.m. Both businesses are located in the same building. People should come out and greet the business owners in a hardy Arnold welcome to the community. Due to parking constraints, visitors are asked to park in the old UMB Bank parking lot at 1384 Jeffco Blvd. The ceremony will occur after the Arnold Chamber of Commerce lunch at Ponderosa Restaurant, at 3601 Jeffco Blvd. There is a $12 fee to attend the lunch.

Aldi Grocery Opens in Arnold This Week

The grocery will return to Arnold when it opens its store near Kohl's Department Stores on Wednesday.

Aldi grocery will hold a store preview and ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday at its new Arnold location at 2154 Michigan Ave. A ribbon cutting will occur at 11 a.m. and customers are welcome to tour the new store and sample products from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The store will officially open for business on Wednesday at 9 a.m. to offer Arnold and South St. Louis County shoppers another choice for groceries. The Arnold location will be the fourth Aldi store in the South County area and will join the locations in Fenton, Mehlville and Crestwood, stated the grocer’s website. The city’s Planning and Zoning Commission first heard about the new development on May 10 when a St. Louis based real estate contractor said the grocer and Kohl’s Department …
