Arnold Warning Siren Test Saturday Morning

Arnold residents will hear city warning sirens at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Residents should call or email whether they can hear the sirens to Police Chief Robert Shockey.

The City of Arnold will test its outdoor tornado warning siren system at 11 a.m. Saturday morning. City councilmen have been concerned about Arnold's warning sirens this year, said Mayor Ron Counts during the council meeting at City Hall, at 2101 Jeffco Blvd., on Thursday night. Arnold Police Chief Robert Shockey led the inspection, repair and replacement of broken sirens, Counts said.  "Let us know how the system is working," Shockey said about Saturday's test. People should provide their location and whether they were outdoors when evaluating the test, Shockey said. Shockey said the information will allow him to identify the sirens that need further improvements and help provide smart use of taxpayers' money. City Attorney Bob Sweeney …
