Why on Earth Did You Move to Arnold?

This is a question I am asked on a regular basis by family, friends, co-workers and community members. Here's my explanation.

I grew up in North County and for the majority of my life, that's where I lived. In 2004, I started dating a guy that lived in Arnold. I remember my first trip to the city - I thought I would never get there! When I finally arrived, I saw few businesses and A LOT OF FARMLAND. I love this story, Sheri! It's cool to get to know a neighborhood through your eyes. It's easy for me to see why people love to live there.   more ›

In February, 2011, I was hired by the company as an associate local editor and was promoted to editor of Webster Groves Patch in August 2011. I currently live in Affton, but I have a contract on a home in Arnold! I lived in Arnold from 2004 to 2009 and loved it! I always felt SAFE! When I first moved to the city, there were few big businesses in the area - the old Walmart, Shop 'n Save, the old Schnucks to mention a few. I remember seeing a lot of fields and open space — something I wasn't used …
